History

Early history

FreezeRay Studios, LLC was officially founded in 2015 by Vince Alcivar. In late 2013, while working for an enterprise HR software company, Vince was inspired to create a new kind of mobile word game and began development on an early prototype. As the prototype grew in size and complexity, Vince decided that having a reliable job with full benefits and a steady paycheck was too high-risk, so he quit and dove headfirst into the mundane world of independent game development. Nearly a year later, FreezeRay Studios was born, and the prototype flourished into a full-fledged game known as Wordy Gator™.

Currently

Between bouts of running around with his hair on fire, Vince is pushing for the beta release of Wordy Gator™, the first game from FreezeRay Studios. At launch, Wordy Gator™ will be a single player word game for iOS and Android. FreezeRay Studios plans on expanding Wordy Gator™ to the Amazon Kindle platform and including multiplayer functionality so that users can enjoy the game with their friends. The company also has plans to release 2 more games which are currently in the concept phase.
